Tourism Prince Rupert and ILWU Local 505 are joining forces to bring Prince Rupert a Labour Day filled with fun.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 1, residents will have the opportunity to shop at the lax Süülda Container Market, which will have over 15 vendors.
At the cruise port there will be a community barbecue, many different games for kids, fencing lessons and a chainsaw artist.
Tourism Prince Rupert is giving out Labour Day passports at the port interpretive centre. Stickers will be handed out at each event to fill the passport and if the passport gets returned by Sept. 5, a prize will be given out.
