Sea Wolves reclaim top spot in Northwest league with win over Terrace

The Prince Rupert U18 Sea Wolves regained first place in the Northwest Representative League with a 7-5 win over Terrace.

The game started quickly, with Jacob Daniele scoring for the Sea Wolves just five minutes in. Noah Movold added another eight minutes later, giving Prince Rupert a 2-0 lead.

Terrace drew even in the last few minutes of the period thanks to a pair of goals from Ryder Hobensheild to head into the intermission tied.

After giving up a two-goal lead in the first, the Sea Wolves came into the second period looking to get it back. Early in the second Mason Horne and Kenyan Barry gave the Sea Wolves a 4-2 lead. After the Sea Wolves restored their lead, Hobensheild scored his third of the game to cut the Sea Wolves’ lead in half heading into the third period.

The Sea Wolves piled on to their lead in the third with goals from Noah Movold and Owen Davies to give them a 6-3 lead. Terrace didn’t give up and scored two more goals from Jaron Monsen and Gavin Link before Noah Movold iced the game with a hat-trick clinching goal.
