In addition to support provided over the phone and online, Claimant Support Sessions offer in-person information and support in select communities across Canada.
Support may include: information sessions about the Federal Indian Hospitals Settlement, the Claims Process and one-on-one Claim Form support.
Claimant Support Sessions provide free, one-on-one support from Claims Helpers in a safe and respectful setting.
Support may include: An information session about the Federal Indian Hospitals Settlement and the Claims Process, One-on-one support with understanding the Claim Form, Support with identification questions or documents, Help understanding letters from the Claims Administrator, Connections to wellness or cultural supports where available.
Everyone moves through the Claims Process differently. Claims Helpers will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
